Stone Oil: Shake the container before pouring the Pandomo Stone Oil into a paint pan, and then apply it evenly over the surface using a lamb’s wool applicator. Use a circular wiping motion to achieve a uniform, saturated appearance, but avoid leaving puddles on the surface. Allow this coat to cure until it visually appears to be half wet and half dry (thicker areas will look wet longer). This will take approximately 10 to 30 minutes, depending on jobsite conditions. At that time, buff the surface with a white pad until a smooth, matte finish is attained. Depending on the size of the area, several buffing pads may be needed. The surface should be buffed until no shiny or oily spots are removed. Corners and hard to reach places should be hand-buffed to achieve the same appearance. Once buffed, the entire surface should look dry.
Impregnation: Apply Pandomo Impregnation as a thin layer with the help of a wall brush (broad brush) or alternatively a lightly soaked sponge. Always apply Pandomo Impregnation to walls from the bottom to the top to avoid patchiness.
Remove excess material immediately with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth, or else rub into the surface using circular movements. No shiny areas must remain. Apply the material in the same direction as the smoothing compound was applied beforehand, so as to preserve the same structure.
